Los Angeles, California – A violent collision in Los Angeles late Saturday night left two individuals hospitalized and resulted in damage to at least eight vehicles and city property in the San Fernando Valley. The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene near the 14600 block of Polk Street around 11:42 p.m. on May 24 following reports of a two-car crash.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that two patients were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital, though details regarding their conditions remain unavailable. Footage from the scene showed severe damage to a Chevrolet Camaro and a Ford SUV. According to witness accounts reported by Key News Network, the Camaro was allegedly speeding before colliding with the Ford. The force of the crash sent the Ford into a light pole and fence, while the Camaro struck several parked vehicles.

Residents in the area expressed concern over frequent speeding and are calling for increased safety measures, including a traffic signal at the intersection. LAPD officials are still investigating the cause of the crash and have not confirmed whether speed or impairment played a role.
