Los Angeles, CA – A tragic two-car collision in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, claimed the lives of two young men and left two others with minor injuries on Saturday afternoon June 7, 2025. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of N. Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Strathern Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Firefighters responded quickly to the scene, where they found two men in their 20s trapped inside a vehicle. One was pronounced dead at the scene, and the second died later at a nearby hospital. Emergency crews used hydraulic tools to extricate them from the wreckage.

A 45-year-old man and another individual suffered minor injuries but declined hospital transport. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
