Los Angeles, CA – A devastating late-night crash in the Vermont Square neighborhood of Los Angeles has left two people dead and two others in critical condition. According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision occurred at approximately 11:36 p.m. on Monday, April 8, 2025, when a white sedan, reportedly traveling at a high speed, veered into oncoming traffic on Western Avenue near 47th Street. The vehicle struck another sedan, resulting in a fatal outcome for the male driver in his 40s and a 6-month-old baby who were both in the white sedan. Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Two others remain hospitalized in critical condition as the investigation continues.
