March 23, 2022 – Los Angeles, CA – An 18-wheeler was involved in a crash on Harbor Freeway on Wednesday, that left the driver injured. The crash happened on Harbor Freeway (11) just south of Artesia Freeway (91) around 8:00 am.

California Highway Patrol was notified that another vehicle was trapped under the big rig as it was still driving down the freeway. The 18-wheeler eventually stopped and crews began working to free the occupant of the pickup truck, before transporting them to a local hospital.

Both directions of the freeway were temporarily shut down to allow for the cleanup of the debris and the preliminary duties because of the semi-truck accident, which ended shortly after 9:00 am.

An active investigation into the crash is currently underway.
